The Party of No sat there like toads during the State of the Union address last night. I am wondering how these actions stack up with historians that might remember this address as a respectful event when everyone listens without making faces and folding arms in dissent. I couldn’t finish watching because it was more like a peanut gallery or game show with booing contestants.
Then this a.m., when news people asked about that Bypartisan myth, those Party of No-ers simply redefine the term to fit their own. They are not only entitled their own opinion, but also their own facts.
I think that followers of the Party of No should take out the dictionary and look up two words; “takeover” and “option.” It might surprise them. And it doesn’t take a degree in finance to see that a government “option” would thrive in the free market, which is exactly what the Party of No wants…
